John Thiry’s Bio

John F. Thiry graduated Manheim Township class of 1988 where he was active in school government, sports and academics. He was awarded a Navy Scholarship with the NROTC program and obtained his Bachelor of Science, Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.

John then served as an Officer in the United States Navy aboard submarines, as a technology consultant with Andersen Consulting and as a Flight Controller for the International Space Station at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

John then returned to Lancaster County and started, owned and operated a technology consulting firm servicing small businesses in south central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. John then sold the technology company and for the past four years has been a commercial real estate advisor with NAI Commercial Partners, Inc.

John holds memberships in the Lancaster County Association of Realtors (LCAR), The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. John is a board member of the Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Council for the Lancaster County Association of Realtors and serves as the LCAR representative to the Lancaster County GIS Steering Committee. John is a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Lancaster Penn Square and has volunteered for Boy Scouts and the Lancaster County Republican Committee.

John, a Manheim Township resident, has a busy family life with his wife, Dr. Kristin Albright Thiry, a local orthodontist and four girls: Frances (6), twins Elise and Gabrielle (3) and Eleanor (0.75).
