By Jim T. Ryan

The Shippensburg Shopping Center, anchored by a Kmart in Cumberland County, was sold for $2.6 million to Philadelphia-area real estate firm Wilner Realty & Development Co.

Wilner acquired the 144,000-square-foot Shippensburg Township shopping center on Walnut Bottom Road from Maryland-based Hill Management Co., said Brad Rohrbaugh, a partner with York-based real estate brokers Bennett Williams Realty Inc. Settlement was Dec. 19, he said.

In addition to the Shippensburg Shopping Center, Montgomery County-based Wilner also owns:

• Summerdale Plaza in East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County.

• North Point Plaza in Hanover, York County.

• Crossroads shopping center in Manchester Township, York County.

• Carlisle Commerce Center in West Manchester Township, York County.
