Members 1st expands into Lancaster County
CPBJ reports: Lower Allen Township-based Members 1st Federal Credit Union recently opened its first branches in Lancaster County.
Together, the two branches employ 15 people, said George Nahodil, executive vice president of retail delivery.
The Cumberland County credit union is searching for other locations in Lancaster County, but none have received approval yet, he said.
In addition, Members 1st plans to open its second Lebanon County branch in the second quarter of 2011 and is tentatively looking to add a branch in York County in the coming year, he said. Altogether, the credit union has more than 40 branches, according to its website.
“We’re doing extremely well financially, and we’re trying to bring membership to as many people in southcentral Pennsylvania as we possibly can,” Nahodil said.
