Lancaster, PA rail project receives part of a $2.8M state investment
CPBJ reports: – Three rail projects in Central Pennsylvania will receive more than $2.8 million from the state’s Rail Capital Budget and Transportation Assistance Program, including two in York County and one in Lancaster County.
New Jersey-based Church & Dwight Company Inc., the manufacturer of Arm & Hammer brand home and personal care products, received $1.5 million to build rail access to its plant in York County. The completed project included road crossing work, rail siding construction and a spill-containment basin in Jackson Township, according to PennDOT.
